Our enclosed villa is set in a traditional provencal village. This ancient little village offers a great opportunity to enjoy the Traditional way of Provencal life, step back in time as you walk along the banks of the river and waterfalls of the Naturby where you can admire the old mills. Must see’s are the old communal olive-oil mill and the 'Auberge du VieuxMoulin' with its amazing grotto dining room. Silk factories once adorned the banks in 18th century and a couple of narrow old stone arched bridges crossing the river are still in daily use. Visit the 'Hotel de Ville', which has been beautifully restored in its Louis XV style, and the 'well' of the Belgian professor Knappen.
It is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence. Just far enough away from the busy tourist spots on the coast, but near enough to the local town of Draguignan with all its amenities, cafes, bars and markets, dotted around where you can sit on the terraces, taste the local wine and watch the world go by.
For the more jet set, trendy local ports and beaches are just 20 mins away. There is simply so much to explore, so to get the best out of this varied, colourful and exciting region, we recommend hiring a car. From old to new , idyllic to touristic ..its all here, if you want it.
