XAYMACA, formerly a 19thC country-village house, is today a unique self-catering holiday country home located only 15 minutes inland from Spain’s beautiful Costa Blanca beaches.  It is set on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Benimeli, between Denia and the Jalón valley, surrounded by almond, olive and orange groves and a spectacular semicircle of low mountain ranges in the Costa Blanca’s Marina Alta region.

XAYMACA accommodates up to 8 people with four double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, two spacious lounges, large dining room, fully equipped kitchen, enclosed courtyard, garden, fruit orchard, private swimming pool, barbecue area, onsite parking and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

 

This country-style holiday home has been renovated to high standards, respecting original architectural features such as stone walls, high beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, and many singular details, combined with warm Mediterranean colours and a unique mix of rustic and contemporary furniture that transmit a cosy ambience where you will feel immediately at home.

 

No expense has been spared on modern installations such as low-consumption heating, air-conditioning, a complete range of kitchen appliances and equipment, top quality bed and bath linen,  child’s cots and high chair, fire-safety devices,  internet broad-band connection, Satellite TV,   DVD, CD player, books and board games, local maps and information, welcome basket, amenities, etc.  

 

A weekly cleaning and linen change service and pool & garden maintenance is also provided.  The owners who speak fluent English, Spanish and French personally greet and welcome their guests and will happily attend to guests’ needs during their stay, offering a wealth of information on the area.

Sun loungers and outdoor furniture are also provided. This area enjoys magnificent views of the mountains and valley.

Benimeli is a typical Spanish village where the essence of Spanish life can be experienced. In the main square is the local bar-restaurant offering home-cooked meals, a grocery store, and within walking distance the butcher’s and bakery, where fresh bread and other delicacies are still made in the wood-fired oven. There is a chemist, post office, cultural centre, sports complex with swimming pool and football pitch, newsagents and a garage. There are many local and international restaurants in the neighbouring towns. Located just 10 minutes from the A7/E15 motorway junction and one hour’s drive from both Alicante or Valencia airports. The owners also have another holiday home, EL SEQUER, a traditional 19th C Spanish finca, which accommodates up to 4 people with two double bedrooms, full bathroom with whirlpool bath, spacious lounge - dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and a secluded garden and fruit orchard with private swimming pool, barbecue area, onsite parking and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Both properties, adjacent to each other, but completely private, offer several holiday options; El Sequer: for a romantic getaway or small family; Xaymaca: for a large family or group of friends; or both properties for a large group wanting to vacation together. Both houses are legally registered with the Valencian Tourist Board
Local Activities

Within a 5 – 30 Km radius from many places of interest, and a wide range of outdoor activities such as golf, water-sports, walking, cycling, bird-watching, horse-riding, tennis, etc, making Xaymaca the ideal holiday venue. Denia ( 15 Kms) is famous for its castle, fine sandy beaches, fishing and ferry port to the Balearic islands, cosmopolitan ambience, museums, cultural events and excellent gastronomy. Ondara (6 Kms) has many large supermarkets, shops, wine bodegas and a 19thC arabesque style bullring. Javea ( 25 Kms) has many restaurants, nature parks, secluded coves and fishing port. Guadalest and the famous Algar waterfalls are a 30 mins. drive away. Gandia ( 20 Kms) is famous for its shopping centres, the Borgia ducal palace and its train station with connection to Valencia and the rest of Spain.
