This is not Benidorm or lager lout country! This is the real Spain, living amongst genuine and very kind Spanish people. There is a small village within walking distance of the villa (15 mins walk across the fields or 1 minute in the car). The village has 3 butchers, 2 small supermarkets, 5 bars with outdoor terraces where you can enjoy a cool beer in the sun and chat with friends, 1 very good restaurant selling traditional Spanish dishes, a doctor´s surgery, a pharmacy, a haberdashery and a bank. There is a weekly street market, where they sell local produce, fish and plants, clothes and Spanish Earthenware pots.

The guest accommodation comprises the whole of the top floor of the villa. Access is by  pretty Spanish- tiled and balastraded steps on the outside of the villa to a balcony terrace with a stunning mountain view and guests' own front door. Inside, the lounge with wooden beams and rustic fireplace leads through to 4 guest bedrooms (2 double rooms, 1 twin room and 1 single room);bathroom with bath, shower, WC and basin; another seperate shower-room with handbasin and a attractively tiled,self-contained kitchen.

Downstairs, the owners accommodation comprises seperate entrance,huge lounge with balustraded conservatory windows, small hallway and  main double bedroom with new ensuite containing bath, shower unit, basin in illuminated vanity unit and WC; another double bedroom with shower room,WC and handbasin; and a fully fitted kitchen. The main bedroom and back door lead onto terraces and the garden, which has a rockery by the house, a lawned area under the palm trees and steps leading up to the swimming pool terraces.

There is a large poolside BAR, with terracotta tiled floor and tiled bar. It has shelves for drinks and glasses and power points for the fridge and stereo and power points for a dishwasher (or washing machine) and hot water heater for the built in sink and for the prettily tiled shower in seperate room with WC.

Next to the bar is a large built-in tiled BARBECUE on the ample terraces around the pool. Plenty of space for table and chairs for eating al fresco by the bar and pool and for lots of sunbeds, where you can lie, sipping a cocktail and enjoying the palm treees in the garden and the wonderful mountain views. Next to the bar is a small lawned area with pine trees, two of which are positioned perfectly to hold a HAMMOCK, for those who like to doze in the dappled shade under the trees and perhaps open an eye from time to time to enjoy the light playing on the dazzling surface of the pool.

The swimming pool has an automatic pump on a timer switch, to circulate the water daily and keep the pool sparkling. The pool, bar and terraces are  beautifully illuminated at night. The light in the pool gives it a gorgeous turquoise glow, under the stars.

In the garden there are 3 outside taps, a large lockable shed for storing tools and a huge under-terrace water deposit with pump, that automatically pumps water to the villa if the mains water goes off, which it is known to do from time to time in Spain! The villa is fully legal and is connected to mains water and mains electricity powers.

The villa has a mainland phone line, Satellite TV and Broadband Internet access.

The villa has a mature garden with palms, bouganvillea, jasmine, oleander, huge cacti, olive trees, a lemon tree, a marmalade orange tree, pine trees with a hammock to lie in the dappled shade by the pool and a pretty pergola with mosaic floor. Next to the sparkling 10x4 pool, on the large terrace, is a bar with fridge, stereo, basin, barbecue, WC and hot shower.

The front garden has a gated entrance, with lights, tropical plants, another palm tree and olive tree, a mature blue jacaranda tree, eucalyptus and a pine tree. There are lights on the sides of the villa and above the pretty tiled steps and on the terraces.
